About the Post

Assistant Loco Pilot is one of the most prestigious and well-paying railway posts. ALPs assist the locomotive driver in operating trains safely and are responsible for monitoring train systems during journeys.

Eligibility

Candidates must have passed 10th standard plus ITI in relevant trade, or have a diploma in Engineering from a recognised institution. Age limit is generally 18-30 years with relaxations for reserved categories.

Selection Process

The selection includes a Computer Based Test (CBT Stage 1), CBT Stage 2, Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), and Document Verification.

Salary

RRB ALP selected candidates receive a starting salary of approximately ₹19,900 per month plus allowances under 7th Pay Commission.
